Trash and Cherish the Dress at Hengistbury head, Bournemouth
I love shooting the bride and groom portaits - and although i don't always get that long on a wedding day then a cherish / trash the dress shoot is an amazing way to get some more use out of the wedding dress and get some awesome photographs that you can really get the most out of your dress with.
I met up with the lovely Catherine (and her bride's accessory - Phil) near christchurch and bournemouth (never sure which it's nearer) at hengistbury head.
Here are some of my favourite photographs from the day
The lovely Veil on the (very) windy day.

the fabulous bracelet

the back of the dress

more of the veil by the great blue beach huts

and some more fun (bonus points if darts lovers can spot the signigicance of this one) in the dress by another hut

i love the colours here - with catherine sat down showing of the dress and the lovely yellow of the hut and the blue of the sky

i love the contrasts in this one - really showing of the amazing wedding dress and bringing out catherines eyes once again

relaxed, fun and romantic all in one image here with Cathering and her husband having a laugh whilst we were about halfway through this photoshoot

some more details of the awesome wedding dress - i love the stitching and detail here

and here we have bit more of the wedding dress detail - really was great looking and I'm glad that this cherish / trash the dress shoot allowed catherine to show it off once again

all aboard for this one ( :-) ) we rode the land train to mudeford beach and back to hengistbury head - i even accidentally hit the stop button making the whole thing stop. How we chuckled.

I love using an off camera flash to light the bride - and having an awesome background was just the icing on the cake for this shot.

This time we had the bride's accessory come into the shot (or groom as he's known)

now it was time for some shoe shots - which is always fun - this time I have to say i loved having them on a clifftop

catching the last bit of the sunset and lighting the shoes - really gives a twist on the shoes detail shot you shoot at most weddings

one of my favourites at the end of the photoshoot nice interesting sky with photographic clouds and a dab of colour from the setting sun.

What an awesome fun photoshoot that was relaxed, fun and romantic all at the same time!
