Wedding Photography Workshop near Southampton - No Monkeys
Now I like photography workshops and seminars - they can be fun, educational and a bit of a change of pace. Best of all they are also a way to network with other photographers, this is something that being a photographer is sometimes hard to do as if you think about it. The reason? simple as a wedding photographer you're often working on your own or maybe with an assistant so you simple don't meet other people in the trade so to speak unless you pretend to be getting married at a wedding fayre :) (no i don't recommend this - unless you want to get free cake and chocolate samples :) )
Anyway I attended a wedding photography seminar today taken by Mark Cleghorn (www.markcleghorn.com), now mark is cardiff based wedding photographer and has got where he has by a lot of hard work and I can respect someone like that. So this is the 3rd photography seminar of his I've attended, the others being Boudoir photography and Child photography (not at the same time I hasten to add!).
Overall it was a good workshop - I met several old faces and a few new ones (hi Jerry and Jacqui) - had a good chat with people before heading off for the day.
For those curious as to what happens on these seminars I'll finish with a few photos of the model (Becky - I think she's on purestorm) - so you can see what the practical part of the day was about.
For the photographers reading this blog I used my 550D and kit lens - you can buy them here :) -> 550D from Warehouse Express
